Human-Traffic Infographic

GOOD has an interesting infographic video about traffic in Los Angeles, California. I’m pretty sure I don’t know anyone who likes sitting in traffic, and this video is a good justification for the benefits we can ALL reap if some people choose to make transportation mode changes away from the personal automobile. Can’t or don’t want to ride a bike? Hey, take public transit or even carpool. But the point of the video is that if just 3% of L.A. drivers switched to a different mode, traffic would flow 15% faster. And really, who doesn’t like that statistic?

Something about this makes me think of The Onion’s piece
“Report: 98 Percent Of U.S. Commuters Favor Public Transportation For Others”
