Scrapertown
Posted on 21. May, 2010 by Melanie Meyers in Video
I’m a big fan of the scraper bike movement that started in Oakland, CA. The scraper bike movement is without a doubt also a utility cycling movement, as it is built around ideas of community building, living green, enjoying the bicycle, and in the Oakland context, it is also about saving lives. Scrapertown, the video below from California is a Place (originally seen at Cyclelicio.us), documents Baby Champ, the King of the Scraper Bike Movement. Great stuff.
