He has a very special knowledge of bike trailers having worked for Bikes At Work in Iowa as a delivery cyclists pulling loads of up to 1000lbs of recycling and mail as well as manufacturing these delivery trailers.
Hi Clancy,

Indeed, improving cyclist safety through education of the rules of the road (for cyclists and motorists) alike is certainly an important component of increasing cycling. Those ideas can certainly compliment infrastructure improvements. Meanwhile, one of the nice things about infrastructure is that it has to potential to force or at least encourage motorists and cyclists to be more courteous to each other and obey the rules of the road.

Thanks for the comment and link.

While infrastructure is nice, there are a quicker and more effective ways to make the roads safer. I wrote something called Boise Bikes to address cycling safety in the Boise,Idaho area. It aims to get all the stakeholders on board to keep our streets safe.
